Pirate Fitness is proud to announce that their charity for the year is Breast Cancer Campaign. Breast Cancer Campaign's mission is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.

 

Veronica advocated this charity as a family member has been receiving treatment this autumn. However the subject of breast cancer has really struck a chord with Pirate Fitness members. To date (December 2010) we have raised over £1255

 

As usual we have the book basket. Help yourself to a book and please

leave a small donation. When you have finished reading your book bring

it back for some one else to browse through!

Previously Pirate Fitness has raised money for Seesaw, Cancer Research and Children with Leukaemia through a variety of activities including race sponsorship,

raffles and Ladies Nights.
